Ghetto

So the softball girls at Copper Hills have a very good sense of humor. D is a very funny, outgoing and hard worker for us. She also found the time during tryouts to give the three female coaches new nicknames. You would think I would learn to keep my mouth shut and not say certain things around the kids. I get a lot of junk from the Attitude girls and now CH girls are following suit--which I'm OK with.
I decided it was time to cut my hair last Saturday. It was just time and it was gross. D asked me on Monday at tryouts if I cut it. I replied "Yeah, it was time. It was really ghetto." D then said, "Oh my gosh! Did you just say ghetto?! I'm going to start calling you Bon Qui Qui from King Burger!" At least I'm not alone in the nicknames--Amy is ShaBreefa and Jenner is J-Wow. It's fun getting to know these girls and their personalities. I should really be careful what words and phrases I use around the kids, but at least they have senses of humor too.
