Choices

Besides knowing I get to wear t-shirts and shorts everyday, teaching has been a great career choice for me. I don't ever feel like I'm going to work. I get to teach and coach some really great kids that make big impacts on my life. I have come to the realization that with this career comes a lot of responsibility. I never want to do something that I would lose the respect of my fellow teachers, students and players. I see teachers and coaches make really bad decisions, and kids see it, too. I've always tried to do the right things and when kids are involved in the mix, I try even harder to be that good example. I have good parents and people in my life that have taught me to try and be a good person in every situation. I owe a lot to my teachers while I was in school. They pushed me to be better each day and to be a good example. They expected me to be a good student, athlete and person. This is a big reason why I wanted to go into education and I truly believe this is the best career choice for me.
