Kids

Being a teacher and coach has been a very rewarding experience. I get to work with some amazing kids and I'm very partial to my softball girls. Here are a few of the kids that have made my experience very worth it.

Marlee
She goes to Bear River, is an amazing outfielder, and is a funny kid with a kind heart. I've never heard her say anything mean about anyone and she motivates her teammates. I was fortunate to coach Marlee this last fall and she was a great addition to our team. She's graduating this year and heading to college where I know she'll do amazing things.

Calli

She goes to Skyline, can play pitcher, 2nd base, and outfield and has one of the best smiles around. She is always upbeat and helps everyone around her. Always easy going and can take constructive criticism like a champ, Calli excels at motivating her teammates and making the best of any situation. She too is graduating and will be heading to college this fall.

Emily

A swimmer at Copper Hills, and probably my most useful student aide. Emily was my go-to gal when I was deemed "head coach" for about 2 months. She was extremely helpful and has a great personality. She loves the sport and I know she'll make a great coach in the near future.

Ashley

I got to meet and work with Gib last summer. I'm sad I only got one summer with her, but she made it a great one. She's a great leadoff hitter and 2nd baseman and I know she did great things this year in college. One of the sweetest kids I've ever met, and one of the best softball players I've ever seen, Gib definitely gets it done.

Ivy

Ivy goes to Jordan, plays a mean 2nd base but also can play anywhere you put her. She didn't know all the ropes with 3rd base, but made some great plays for us last summer. A switch hitter, she can show the power from both sides of the plate and can even give a good slap when needed. One of the most dedicated kids to the sport, Ivy always gives her all and I know she has a very bright future.
